Blucamp Lucky 650 Motorhome

Introducing the Lucky 650, a great family tourer from our Italian manufacturer, Blucamp

June 19, 2019

This lovely family motorhome set off on a grand European tour recently with an Australian family of four. We had the chance to snap a few pics before she left on her maiden voyage so thought we’d share them with you.

The first thing that strikes you as you step inside the Lucky 650 is space and light. At 7.17 metres long, this is not a small vehicle but if you are comfortable driving a big-ish motorhome, this one has a truly comfortable and spacious layout for four people.

Technically speaking it is a six-berth (it has a fixed overcab double bed, a double at the rear and a third double you can make up from the dinette) but it is much more comfortable for four people than six. Using the third bed would be fine for occasional visitors but less ideal full-time as you have to undo your seating and dining area to use it.

Some of the many features that make this motorhome particularly suitable for family life are the two totally separate sleeping areas, big kitchen cupboards and drawers with plenty of workspace, big fridge/freezer, good sized bathroom with separate shower cubicle, spacious seating/dining area and large garage locker to store everything from push chairs to toys.

The Australian family who set off on an extended trip in this motorhome had one small child and one tiny (two month old!) baby and they are finding this layout works well for them. We’ll ask them for a fuller report when they have a little more experience of family life on board.

We would usually mention the price of a motorhome when writing about it but we are right on the verge of having 2020 prices for the Blucamp range on the very latest chassis so we will give you an update of the whole range with prices soon.

Get in touch if you’d like us to help you find the perfect layout for your family motorhome adventure in Europe. Across the three ranges we represent, there are a vast and somewhat confusing array of layout options but if you let us have your criteria, we are happy to help
match you up to the motorhome that suits you best.
